Pine Tree Equity, a private equity firm based in Miami, FL, is pleased to announce that it has invested in Innercept, LLC in February 2021.  Innercept, founded in 2004 and headquartered in Coeur d’Alene, ID, is a leading adolescent (ages 13 to 17) and young adult (ages 18 to 28) medium-term, residential treatment facility providing treatment for mental and behavioral health disorders.  For additional information on Innercept, please visit www.innercept.net.

With seven programs operating out of 17 facilities, Innercept provides innovative treatment for adolescents and young adults with a constellation of behavioral and mental health concerns. Pine Tree is excited to partner with Innercept’s founders, Jami Sturges and George Ullrich, to continue building upon the success of their treatment model. The existing Innercept team will continue to lead the organization and provide the best clinical care for residents through the same dedicated staff, using the unique methods developed by the Company over the last 17 years. Innercept seeks to revolutionize the way mental health is delivered, creating an environment conducive to changing the stigma connected with mental health.

Pine Tree Equity partnered with Innercept’s founders to continue to grow the Company’s industry leading clinical care resources and expand the service offerings to adolescents and young adults. Innercept marks Pine Tree Equity’s 82nd investment since inception in 2007 (i.e., 27 platform and 55 add-on acquisitions).
